Wow, looks like you got back from holiday at just the right time! I saw some beautiful blossoms on my way back on the trains from Osaka, but in Ehime the blossoms had already mostly passed full bloom.
Yes, I got back just as they went into full bloom! The somei-yoshino are mostly done now, but we still have some of the late varieties and cheerful yellow nanohana everywhere.
Cherry blossom season is evanescent, and enjoy them though I did, I took no new photos this year. Thankfully they look about the same every year, the only thing that changes is the way you perceive them.
